I did experience like the music orchestration wasn't in a mode that I wanted. But, like the look, I'm certain it'll grow on me. I was just hoping for something more lush sounding!

I don't become people saying the style doesn't fit Links Awakening. The game had a ballerina hippo in it, of course it's gonna look kinda wacky. As someone that played the DX version as a child I think looks spot on.

I kinda oscillate back and forth on the art design. Even when watching the clip for the first time, I went from "this looks amazing" to "eh that part looked kinda bland" to "actually it's pretty beautiful". I'm non sure where I've landed on yet.

I'one thousand obviously gonna get this, and I'm obviously gonna bask it. Merely kinda wish they put all that toward new dungeons and globe instead of simply remaking Awakening.

Its perfect, y'all haters tin fuck off. Theres always going to exist a mixed bag, only its a remake of a 26 yr former game, one of the best zeldas, and a game that had to make due with the hardware limitations. I am beyond excited for this. Cannot wait.

Link's Awakening is probably i of my favorite games from when I was growing up - probably played through it four times.

I really actually similar the art style, merely I'm on the fence over the mistiness at the top and bottom. Either way, I'll admittedly be picking this up though.

Oh, totally. New content or non, its Day 0 for me. Link'south Awakening holds a lot of sentiment for me, so even if it IS just a true remake, I'll play with joy. Also, I beloved the claymation/Rudolph expect of the visuals.

I hateful I don't know what to tell y'all. Hylics? Claymation. Wallace and Grommit? Shaun the Sheep? Those are all claymation. Claymation tends to look very distinct even amid different art styles, and this is not claymation.

It's like challenge that Twilight Princess is cel-shaded.

It's like what I imagined a pretty Hd Link Between Worlds type game on Switch could be. Exactly the kind of game I've been asking for. I've been wanting those fun 'handheld' games to fill in the gaps between 'major' Nintendo games e'er since they consolidated things like I wanted.

The original had a melancholy, dreamlike atmosphere - for obvious reasons - that this 1 doesn't. The darker areas especially look incorrect in this style. The Owl doesn't have the presence or mystery. It too had a very compact way due to the GB and the camera angle is more tilted than I'd like, but that'south more to do with modernization I suppose.
